When I asked for a host upon checkout I was told one wasn’t available as “there’s no phones to contact them due to covid” I Then proceeded to the rewards desk and spoke with a supervisor who contacted a host no problem. Then there was the drink service, I don’t drink alcohol, and good thing because it took me 4 orders before I could even get a cup of water delivered. They tried to say it was “San Diego ordinance” but we visited multiple other properties who all had their vip lines open. I understand there’s a pandemic and options are limited, but they took everything away right down to the vip check in line. My issue is I am a Diamond Plus Caesars Rewards member and this property isn’t honoring any of the benefits that come along with that tier status other than waiving resort fees.
Although those are not really my concerns. Staff is rude and not helpful, rooms are decent but typical “Harrah’s” with broken/damaged items throughout. This is the 3rd time we’ve been and thought we’d give it another chance but it was just as bad. Other than that property is a complete disappointment. The only reason I’m leaving 2 stars is because the pool and gaming floor are nice.
